*In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

*Add the butter and water. Knead for 2 minutes by hand.

*Tip the dough out onto a lightly floured worksurface and shape it into a ball.

*Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and form a tight ball by folding each piece of dough in the centre.

*Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball to a 10 cm circle.

*Using a 4 cm cookie cutter or a small glass, cut a hole in the middle.

*Place the circles on the standard Easy Fry plate.

*In a small bowl, mix the egg yolk, cream (or milk), salt and sugar. Brush the rings with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
